How to Create and Edit Your Own Custom Templates
Difficult tasks become easier when you get into a routine, and our templates are designed to help you save time writing your sermon. If our six pre-made templates aren’t exactly what you’re looking for, you can create your own custom template tailored to your liking.
This process is super simple and can be done to edit pre-existing templates.
Create a Template
To begin creating your Template, press the Write New blue button on the Sermons page. Then, select the Open Editor option. Press the blue Add Block button (or the small addition sign) to add your first block. Repeat this step for each block you wish to include until finished. To edit a block, simply click it.
Once you’ve finished creating your template, scroll to the top of the page and press the gear icon. On the right-hand side of the screen, an option titled Create Template from Sermon will appear. Select that option, fill in the brief summary of your template, and press the blue Save Template button once more. The template will now be saved to your Templates page.
Editing a Template
If you would like to edit a template you have created, or you'd like to edit one of Sermonary's pre-existing templates, open the said template in the Sermonary Editor. Edit the template until you are ready to save it.
Once you’ve finished creating your template, scroll to the top of the page and press the gear icon. On the right-hand side of the screen, an option titled Create Template from Sermon will appear. Here, you'll be able to save the edited copy of your template. Select that option, fill in the brief summary of your template, and press the blue Save Template button once more. The template will now be saved to your Templates page.
