Clearing Your Cache Using Firefox
Using an iPad
Step 1: Open the Firefox App
- Find the Firefox app on your iPad (it looks like an orange and purple fox wrapped around a blue globe).
- Tap on it to open.
Step 2: Open Firefox’s Menu
- In the bottom-right corner of Firefox, tap the three horizontal lines (☰).
- A menu will appear—tap Settings.
Step 3: Go to Data Management
- Scroll down and tap Data Management.
Step 4: Select What to Clear
- Make sure Cache is turned on (it will have a blue checkmark).
- You can also select Cookies and Browsing History if you want to remove more data.
Step 5: Clear the Cache
- Tap the Clear Private Data button at the bottom.
- A message will pop up—tap OK to confirm.
Step 6: Restart Firefox
- Close Firefox by swiping up from the bottom of the screen and flicking it away.
- Reopen Firefox and start browsing!
Your cache is now cleared!
